Lot 119 - Antique Flemish Art Pyrography And Carved Plaque Depicting Four Kittens, 15" x 10"

Antique Flemish Art pyrography and carved wood plaque depicting four kittens framed within a decorative floral border. Richly burned detailing accentuates the fur and features of the cats, characteristic of early 20th-century pyrographic work. Two of the tallest cat ears are broken off. The reverse bears the impressed Flemish Art Co. trademark logo featuring two upright bears flanking a central shield inscribed “Flemish Art Co.,” with remnants of the original “Quality” paper label. Surface wear, scuffing, and small edge losses consistent with age and handling.
